IN PERSON Poetry Open Mic with Guest Host

We aim to be inclusive for poets at all stages of their writing journey! This month will be guest hosted by Jackie Proulx (as Bianca is at a Poetry Therapy Conference). 

ABOUT THE EVENT HOST: Jackie Proulx grew up on the side of a mountain in NH surrounded by acres of beautiful forests which served as inspiration for her early writing. Jackie continues to celebrate nature by writing haiku and explores current events as well as her own life journey in both haiku and free verse. In her work as an educator and advocate, Jackie has encouraged others to discover and use their voice. She finds moments in which people speak from their truest selves to be powerful and empowering.
