Poetry Downtown Rutland 

The Paper Poet invites you to contribute to Poetry Downtown Rutland.

2026 is our 6th annual celebration of National Poetry Month with this fav project. ​

Every year, we solicit original poetry submissions from diverse poets of all ages. The free submission period opens February 1. The deadline for submission is March 14, 2026 by 11:59 PM. Submit your info and up to 3 poems, written in English, for inclusion in the Poetry Downtown Rutland, Vermont 2026 celebration of National Poetry Month.

 

Poets will have their poem on display in a Rutland downtown storefront window during National Poetry Month. Poems will be displayed from early April through the first week of May. The community is invited to celebrate by following the poetry path to read them all (poetry passports available at select businesses & online).
