Join us for an in-person 10-week weekend writing workshop series on Saturday mornings, 10:00 - 11:30 am. Drop in to one workshop or come every week for the full series.
Starting on Saturday, September 26, and continuing October 24, October 31, November 7, November 28, December 5, December 19, January 16, January 23, and concluding on January 30, 2027.
Free and open to those in recovery or impacted by addiction. All materials provided.
Writers for Recovery provides writing workshops, trainings, and talks to recovery groups, residential treatment facilities, and recovery organizations. We help people discover the power of the written word to process trauma, build self-esteem, and support healthy, sustained recovery. Participants in Writers for Recovery workshops write deeply personal stories of struggle and perseverance, doubt and inspiration, and the slow but steady work of renewal and healing.
